This guest post agreement (“Post Agreement”) sets forth the general guidelines, requirements, terms, conditions, rights, and obligations when you ( “User/s”, “Writer”, “you” or “your”) wish to submit a guest post article (“Article”, “Articles”) for the healthopedia.ca website (“website”, “Website”, “the Website”, “this website”, or “this websites”), and/or the “Healthopedia” video channel, on the Website, and/or Youtube video channel “Healthopedia” on Youtube and associated with the Website (“Video channel”) and any of its related products, contents, materials, downloads, and services, (collectively, “Services”). The terms and conditions (“Agreement”) set forth the general terms, and conditions, of your, use, of the healthopedia.ca website (“website”, “Website”, “the Website”, “this website”, or “this websites”), and/or “Healthopedia” video channel, on the Website, and/or Youtube video channel “Healthopedia”, on Youtube and associated with the Website (“Video channel”) and any of its related products, contents, materials, downloads, and services, on the Website, and/or Video channel, will be (collectively, “Services”). This Post Agreement, and Agreement, are legally binding between you, and Salvatore Trotta this website operator (“Operator”, “we”, “us” or “our”), this website creator (“Creator”, “we”, “us” or “our”), and/or Services.
If you, are entering into this Post Agreement, and Agreement, on behalf of a business, or other legal entity, you, represent that you, have the authority to bind such entity to this Post Agreement, and Agreement, in which case the terms User/s”, “writer”, “you” or “your” shall refer to such entity. If you, do not have such authority, or if you, do not agree, with the guidelines, terms, conditions, rights, or obligations, of this Post Agreement, and Agreement, in its entirety, then you must not accept, this Post Agreement, and Agreement, and may not submit any Articles.
By pitching and submitting an Article, for publishing on the Website, Video channel, or Services, you, acknowledge, that you have read, understood, and agree, in its entirety, to be bound by the guidelines, terms, conditions, rights, or obligations, of this Post Agreement. By accessing and using the Website, Video channel, and Services, and by pitching and submitting an Article, for publishing on the Website, Video channel, or Services, you, also acknowledge that you, have completely read, understood, and agree, in it entirety, to the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Affiliate Disclosure, Cookie Policy, DMCA Policy, and Guest Post Agreement, and fully accept, to be bound by the terms and conditions, of this Agreement. You, acknowledge, that this Post Agreement, and Agreement, are a contract between you, the Operator, and Creator, even though it is electronic and is not physically signed by you, and it governs your, use of the Website, Video channel, and Services, and it governs your, Article, submissions, and publishing’s, on the Website, Video channel, and Services.
All Articles, must follow these guidelines:
- Article, must have a minimum of 2500 words but not more than 3500 words
- Article, must be free of spelling mistakes
- Article, must be free of plagiarism
- Article, must be unique and not previously published anywhere else
- Article, must not violate any copyrights, patents, or trademarks
- Article, must not contain unlawful, hateful, and threatening language
- Article, must not contain profanity or vulgar language
- Article, must not contain any promotional materials
- Article, may include relevant pictures and videos with proper attributions,
permission to use, or related licenses (you may be asked to show proof) - Article, must not contain any links unless you quote or use factual
information, in which case you must link to authoritative sources at the
bottom of the article to back it up - All statements in the Article, asserted as facts must be valid and based on
evidence and related research - Article, must be submitted in the DOC format

Pitch your ideas
Before sending us your Article, you must first submit a pitch with the following information:
- Tell us a few words about yourself
- Propose a topic for the Article
- Propose 1 sample title for the Article
- Provide a short outline for the Article (no more than 500 words)
- Include links to your previously published Articles
- Include links to your own blog or website
- Include links to your social media pages

We’ll do our best to review all submitted pitches as quickly as possible. However, due to a large number of submissions we receive on a regular basis, it may take a while to get back to you so please be patient and don’t resubmit the same pitch multiple times.
Not all submitted pitches and Articles, will be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse any pitches and Articles, at our sole discretion. Note that we’ll contact you only if we’re interested in your pitch. If you don’t hear from us for a while, you may review these guidelines again and submit another pitch.
If your Article, is accepted, it will be published right away. We, may also republish your Article, on our, affiliate, and partner websites, Video channel, and Services, as well as have it translated into other languages.
Note that we reserve the right to make corrections and changes in the Article, as we see fit (such as its format, wording, spelling, etc).
If your Article, is accepted and published, a portion of your, information may appear along with it. As such, make sure to also include the following along with your, Article, submission:
- A photo of yourself
- A short biography (no more than 500 words)
- A link to your, website
- Links to your, social media channels
You, understand, and entirely agree, that the Article, and related materials, submitted by you, and published by us, will become our, exclusive property. You, understand, and entirely agree, that you, don’t have the right to republish the Article, on your, own website or anywhere else (e.g. web, print, etc).
Once your Article, is published, we, will promote it to our, audience for wider exposure and better engagement. This may include but not limited to sending a newsletter, posting on your, social media channels, making an announcement or linking to it from your, own website.
We’re happy to compensate writers for their Articles, and compensation will be discussed with the writer prior to Article, being accepted and published by the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services.
Nothing contained in this Post Agreement, and Agreement, shall be interpreted as creating or establishing any partnership or joint venturers. You, acknowledge that you, act as an independent contractor. You, are not considered an employee and are not entitled to participate in any employee plans, arrangements, or distributions, by the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services. You, must not act as an agent, of the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services and must not provide any services under the name of the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services.
You, must not under any circumstances (i) enter into any agreements on behalf of the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services (ii) incur any obligations on behalf of the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services (iii) act for or to bind the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services in any way, (iv) sign the name of the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services (v) represent that the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services, is in any way responsible for your acts or omissions (vi) refer to the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services, as a customer in any manner or format, or (vii) use the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services logo or name in a way that implies that you and the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, Services, are partners or that we have endorsed you, your, website or your, products or services. You, must obtain express written permission for any use of the logos, trademarks, or other intellectual property that belong to the Operator, Creator, the Website, Video channel, or Services.
You, agree, to indemnify, and hold, the Operator, the Curator, the Website, Video channel, Services, and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors harmless, from and against any liabilities, losses, damages, or costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, incurred in connection with or arising from any third party allegations, claims, actions, disputes, or demands asserted against any of them as a result of or relating to your, Article, your, use of the Website, Video channel, or Services, or any willful misconduct on your, part.
All rights and restrictions contained in this Post Agreement, and Agreement, may be exercised and shall be applicable and binding only to the extent that they do not violate any applicable laws and are intended to be limited to the extent necessary so that they will not render this Post Agreement, and Agreement, illegal, invalid, or unenforceable. If any provision or portion of any provision of this Post Agreement, and Agreement, shall be held to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, by a court of competent jurisdiction, it is the intention of the parties that the remaining provisions or portions thereof shall constitute their agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof, and all such remaining provisions or portions thereof shall remain in full force and effect.
The formation, interpretation, and performance of this Post Agreement, and any disputes arising out of it shall be governed by the substantive and procedural laws of Ontario, Canada without regard to its rules on conflicts or choice of law and, to the extent applicable, the laws of Canada. The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for actions related to the subject matter hereof shall be the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. You, hereby waive any right to a jury trial in any proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this Agreement. The complete Dispute of Resolution text will be found in Terms & Conditions, under headings Miscellaneous, Severability: Waiver, Disputes, Jurisdiction & Venue, Governing Law, and Applicable Law. In submitting a pitch, Article, and/or using the Website, Video channel, or Services in anyway, you acknowledge, that you have read, understand, and agree, in its entirety, to the Terms and Conditions, and especially the sections in Terms & Conditions, noted in this Post Agreement, under heading Dispute of Resolution.
You, may not assign, resell, sub-license, or otherwise transfer, or delegate, any of your rights, or obligations, hereunder, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent, which consent shall be at our, own sole discretion and without obligation; any such assignment or transfer shall be null and void. We, are free to assign any of its rights or obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, to any third party as part of the sale of all or substantially all of its assets or stock or as part of a merger.
We, reserve the right to modify this Post Agreement, & Agreement, or its terms, at any time at our discretion. When we, do, we, will revise the updated date at the bottom of the updated Post Agreement and/or Agreement. An updated version of this Post Agreement and/or Agreement, will be found on the Website, and/or Video channel, and will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Post Agreement, and/or Agreement, unless otherwise specified. Your future Article, submissions after the effective date of the revised Post Agreement, and/or Agreement, (or such other act specified at that time) will constitute your, consent to those changes.
